Our family is going to go to Disney World in Orlando Florida this year. Of course, I want to get the best deal possible. Whom should I book the trip through to get the best deal? A travel agent? AAA? Or through the Disney web site?

I was looking to plan a Disney World vacation for 4 adults and my two girls. By the time we are able to go (around April or May), my girls will be 1 and 3. I was looking to see if anyone had any advice about finding discounted rates, tips or any other advice? I have never been, so any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I have a booked vacation package in mid-September. The details are as follow: 2 adults and 1 child, 3-days DisneyWorld Resort and 4-days Bahamian Cruise, and we’re flying in from Los Angeles to Florida.
We will be staying at the Dolphin/Swan resort for the land portion for 3 nights, along with all-day Disney Park-Hopper tickets. Then sail off to the Bahamas inside the Disney Wonder in a Category 6 Deluxe Stateroom.
The package include ground transfers, and Travel Insurance.
The total price for the entire package is 97.86.
Is this a good deal?

There will be three adults and one child, age 6. We will be there for five days and four nights. We want to stay at one of the disney resorts and also have our round trip plane tickets included in the package. We want to visit the ocean on at least one of the days and visit the actual disneyworld theme park at least two of the days of our vacation. Our travel spending limit cannot exceed two thousand dollars. Any suggestions?

I’m planning a trip to Orlando, Florida. I’m trying to keep it as cheap as possible. (There are five people in my family.) Also, I want to go to as many places as possible, and we’ll be staying there six nights. So, should I try to get a package deal through Disney.com, or do you know of any sites that have really good package deals?
More Info: We’ll be taking a car, and we’re taking food with us. Would it be a better idea to take a motorhome? (They use a lot of gas.)

my Husband & I are planning on taking our 6 yr old to Disney World in Orlando Fl. and this will be our first time there. We are unsure what are the best prices. We have had a 6 night 7 day vacation quoted at around 1,593.00. That includes the value resort, my way ticket for all 7 days, with the water park addition. I am just curious of wheither or not this sounds like a good deal and I also would like some input from people that have been about where they best and not so exspensive places to go are and how well you liked it. Also when would be the best time to go I really don’t want to go when it is the most exspensive but would like the option of not so crowded either. Thanxs

Hi,
I would like to start thinking about/planning a Disney vacation for June 2009. It will be for a family for four (one child, 5 years old, and one child just under 3 years old). We would obviously like to get the most bang for our buck. I don’t want the best hotel…but I absolutely insist that it is clean. I tried to look up stuff on the internet but it all seems so overwhelming about where to start. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
