I now have a website for people to buy travel online (I’m a new travel agent). I was thinking of advertising in newspapers for a "special" price on a cruise. Do people actually buy cruises they see listed in the newspaper or should I think of something else? I wanted to offer a discount package for people in the midwest that would include airfare & the cruise (from florida to the bahamas). Any suggestions???

We were hoping to go around November right before Thanksgiving, but a family member of mine said it was hot when they went in November a few years ago. We live in Louisiana, and don’t want to go unless we know it’s going to be cold & would like to at least see snowcapped mountains if it doesn’t actually snow while we’re there. Any one live near there that could answer this? Thanks.

Ok, I’m planning a trip to New York from Dallas, and I’m looking for either some great air & hotel packages or atleast some cheap tickets (non-stop preferred).

I’ve searched for some tickets and I guess I can say they aren’t as bad as a I thought, but they are not non-stop. And I’m going for vacation for only a week (yeah, surely not enough), so I don’t want to spend more time on a plane than I have to.

As for the hotels, they are definitely over my budget. I know it’s not like a trip to Europe, but are there any good travel packages out there for the budgeted?

They can be of the following, and if you know of other legitimate ways, please, mention them. These need to be all legitimate and free (where I wouldn’t pay for anything) where I can make good money at least 00/month by not slaving like 80 hours/week. I’m willing to work around the usual 40 or even up to 50.

1. good legitimate surveys sites
2. any good legitimate type-at-home or work at home.
3. Internet business opportunities. (This is the only exception where I am willing to pay money to purchase good legitimate Internet businesses. No turnkey sites, please. The sites have to be at least 3 years established. Anything but online retail stores.Preferrably ad-contextual sites like Adsense, YPN, or others. I would also be interested in service oriented sites like selling travel/vacation packages would be great as well.

Other legitimate offers are welcomed as long as sites don’t have anything to do with physical inventory. No more owning brick&mortar businesses for me. Thanks.

We are going in July for 3 nights/4 days, got a great deal on a hotel near Navy Pier but have never been and don’t know what to do. We found online a ticket you buy to get into several museums & places, has anyone done that? Is it a good deal? And what kinds of things can we do on a budget? Thanks!

Someone told me that they chose a vacation package & then made payments on the package & then when it was paid in full they had their dream vacation. I do not want to put a vacation on my credit card & would like to know if anyone has ever heard of this kind of opportunity.
I live in the U.S.A….. thanks for the great suggestions…. & ouch, I do not want to pay any interest rates like that! I use 1 credit card & pay it all off the next month & get a check for just using it. I never pay interest! Guess I’ll just save up. Thanks!

My car got hit on the rear by a lady driving an SUB in Florida, we had 4 people on the car including myself, she admitted that it was her fault to the cop and my car was in driving condition except the trunk was unusable.

The police report sI was in a Car accident and I’m not at fault, need a little help on what to do..?
My car got hit on the rear by a lady driving an SUB in Florida, we had 4 people on the car including myself, she admitted that it was her fault to the cop and my car was in driving condition except the trunk was unusable.

The police report said that she rammed into me when I stopped for the red light and she rear ended me.I Faxed in my police report since the lady that crashed into me never did(Tried going into the lady’s house today, and the security guard said that they might be on vacation since they have not seen the family for the week)

The other lady’s insurance sent a guy to the bodyshop that my car is in to estimate the damage(according to the bodyshop), but the body shop owner asked me to give him my Insurance information, I told them that why and that I DID NOT want my insurance to pay for the repairs(in fear of getting higher rates), but they said that they needed it to check if it was "transferable", not sure what they mean by this, I did not give it to them, they shop has my claim number and the adjuster number already, according to the shop they already did sent it.

I rented a Car at hertz for 20 bucks and have it for 8 days now(the other insurance will pay for this right?)

I already called the girls insurance, and said they can’t do anything yet, I got a letter from her insurance company:

"Writing Company name: Property & Casualty Insurance Company of Hartford

This will acknowledge our telephone conversation on the date 1/12/09.

We have not completed the investigation of this accident at this time(according to the car shop they did inspect the car for damages). We will contact you as soon as it is completed. We do noy make any commitment with respect to the lability of our insured at this time. –skip a few sentences about they not paying for unnecessary or excessive expenses—. If it is determined that our insured was liable in connection with your loss, we will reimburse you for the reasonable towing and storage charges associated with moving your vehicle and reasonable rental expenses plus any applicable sales tax. Please also be advised that a vehicle owner mau choose to utilize their own insurance coverages to help them with these matters and unnecessary delays."

What should I do here?I’m worried of ending up being the one paying a hefty amount for something that wasn’t my fault.
What would you guys do if you where in my shoes: Wait or Pay the Deductible?
