I now have a website for people to buy travel online (I’m a new travel agent). I was thinking of advertising in newspapers for a "special" price on a cruise. Do people actually buy cruises they see listed in the newspaper or should I think of something else? I wanted to offer a discount package for people in the midwest that would include airfare & the cruise (from florida to the bahamas). Any suggestions???

Hi — my boyfriend and I, (mid 20’s) are heading to San Francisco for a weekend in June. We are thinking about hitting Napa Valley, but need some advice — I see so many vacation packages including wine tours, Alcatraz, city tours, wax museum, etc. What are the must-see attractions? Thanks so much!

I might be going to Negril with my older sister (17 yrs. old) and my mom this summer since we found a vacation package for a good price. My mom was a bit concerned about safety. I looked at similar questions on Yahoo! Answers but they were all older than a year. We’re looking for some current information on how safe it would be for three females to travel to Negril and stay at a hotel (NOT all-inclusive) and go about the city alone. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can find the cheapest, most inexpensive vacation package to Las Vegas? I would be traveling from St. Louis. I say package because I want to combine the airfare/hotel/car rental, if possible. Does anyone have any ideas or other ways I can do this cheap? If I can, I’d like to go by the end of March? Is that possible?

So I have a week of vacation(in January) and found great vacation packages for southern Spain and the Amalfi Coast.
In Spain I want to see Seville, Granada, and Cordoba. In Italy I want to see the Amalfi Coast and Naples. I dont care to go to shopping. Im going for scenic views, great cuisine, and to soak up some culture. Which destination would be better in your opinion?
Oh I would love to go when the weather is better but Im in college and I work so the times I would like to go I cant. During summers I have to do internships. So I have to go in January before school starts back.

Traveling to Brazil (in the beginning planning stages)…need suggestions…tour, vacation package, hotel recommendations & etc. At this point, our timing is flexible (possibly November)…If you know anything about vacationing for two in Brazil, please comment. Thank you = )

A couple days ago, I created a question in the travel section asking people for websites that allowed me to search for "open" destinations. In other words, I wanted to put my city as the departure city but not pick a destination–and let the search database show me various airline prices for various cities or vacation packages.

I received three answers and the third answer actually directed me to an obscure website that performed exactly like what I was looking for. Yesterday I gave that person ‘the best vote’ and today I discovery my question has been removed by yahoo. I didn’t save the site in my favorites! I assumed the information would be available to me indefinitely here on yahoo!

Why would yahoo delete my resolved question? Are we censored here? I had NO IDEA discussing vacation ideas was against yahoo rules! Does anyone know who I can contact about this? I see no way to reach yahoo staff.

I receved a phone call from travel agents.com and they told me that I quallifiyed for a 3 day 2 night vacation with 400.00 worth of airline ticket’s and they told me that all i had to do was verify that the routing number they gave me was off my checking account and they asked me to tell them my account number so they could make sure that they were sending the vacation package to the right person. They all ready had my account number

Just purchased a southwest airlines vacation package. Never booked a vacation package before and haven’t been on a plane in about 8 yrs. My ?’s are: I got the airline tickets in the mail today, it states I can check in online, print out a security pass, take that to the airport, but I still need a boarding pass, do I still get through security and can get the boarding pass at the gate or do I have to stand in the long line with all the others before I go through security? 2nd ?. Southwest said all I needed was my Itinerary to check in @ the hotel and to get my disneyland tickets @ will call, when I got my travel docs, there was no itinerary, just the flight tickets, they did, however, email me an itinerary. Am I suppose to get some kind of voucher to check in at the hotel and a voucher to get the disneyland park tickets or is the itinerary okay? Like I said I usually buy my tickets at the AAA store and book the flight and hotel sep., has anyone done a trip like this with southwest? Tks much.

any suggestions? Most travel packages are based on 2 people…but I’m a solo mid 30s traveler…just looking to get away and relax.
